My Neighbor Pharmacy is a growing specialty pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional care and personalized service to patients with complex medical needs. We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team and assist in dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications for a variety of disease states.
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately, including verifying information and ensuring correct dosages.
• Package and ship medications to patients, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification/Registration (CPhT) preferred.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a specialty pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with pharmacy software systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods as necessary.
• Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time as necessary.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
• Candidates must have access to reliable transportation.

Compensation:

• $15-$20 per hour.
